I have a Rem model 1100 2 3/4" which I bought used a few years ago. The gun is in good condition, but my question: Should I buy a tube extension kit, tactical stock w/ pistrol grip? Or should I just buy a completely new weapon?

    Ideas? Suggestions?

The guy with all the money's answer is simple. Buy another.

If you're on a budget, buy the stock & extension and swap out parts as usage dictates.

Yep, it would not be a perfect solution, but its a solid base. But, I'm still looking for the right fit. I'd like to find the right solution before a hurricane hits...

    Toby,

Remington autoloaders are very good shotguns, with one weak link, the extractor. I would recommend getting a spare extractor, plunger and spring, as they tend to sometimes dissapear at the most inopportune time, since i see you bought it used and are not sure how many times it has been fired.
