That headline went out as soon as it happened and they had no clue what was actually going on other than what police put out over the radio. They should update it, but they won't. In news broadcasting getting it out first trumps getting it out accurate.

I disagree. They didn't have to shoot him at all, why not just calmly ask him to stop attacking? Or threaten with a baton, or use a tazer? If all of the above fail them the last trapper would to be shoot the machete out of his hand.

Last night after the Sheriff made his statement the "news" anchor still called the perp the "alleged shooter".
The Sheriff explained the situation well, stating the only shots fired were from an officer.
But these douches continue to push their agenda.
