Here is my version of how I cook a rice jambalaya. Please remember that there are many ways to cook one and this is how I did it today. I do it a little different every time.

I have never cooked it. I will be eating at a friends house tonight that cooks it all the time because he splits his time between here and Paris. I might ask him about his recipe and have him cook one for video purposes.
