The E.A. lowers seem to be top notch. I bought two, they really look and feel like a quality forging. Everything went together and fit perfectly.

PTRs are the heat. I've owned one for awhile and I prefer it to my AR (mostly because it is .308). Trigger is garbage, but someday I'll get around to sending it to Bill Springfield for his semi-famous (in the HK world) trigger job. Good gun for the price point.
i tell ya what, if it werent so heavy this PTR would be my favorite. you can also buy the HK trigger group (newer plastic) on sportsmans guide for about $99. Shoots awesome. Total supressive fire provider. I got it at a Slidell Gun Show about 3 years ago NIB for $1199 without bipod

just search for "G3". You'll see the box of G3 surplus mags plus cleaning kit. I ordered 5 sets and when they came in, more than half were original HK still in the wrapper.
I also ordered sets of the "HK" used mags, those are on their way now due to a backorder.

I like those ARs above. I'd like to have both of them as well. 5.45 ammo is cheap but AR10 **** is just too expensive right now.
nola I think you need a bolt and maybe another part to make it shoot the full S-E-F. I am surprised they offer a select-fire group.
