    Got to meet him a couple years back on a security detail. He put on a private comedy show on for us and I will never forget it. One of the best comedians of all time.

    Damn...So very sad to see someone who brought so much joy and laughter to so many people not be able to overcome his personal demons. :(

    He was funny, but one of his best performances in a non-comedy
    was "What Dreams May Come" .

    That Movie gripped me hard. It was so deep and meaningful and heart wrenching.
    I felt every bit of pain and heart ache that Robin Williams felt for his wife in that movie
    and it was so surreal.

    Now the Irony of that movie,
    and him being in his wife's position but in real life.

    ....yet having no significant other to hang on to like he was in the movie.
