Roofer Advice needed

Having the roof replaced on my home. Have it narrowed down to S&S Roofing (guy in BR who comes recomended by a friend, uses Atlas Shingles) and Garcia Roofing (uses Owens Corning shingles). Both are within $200 dollars of each other. Seeing if anyone has any good or bad things to say about either contractor or exprience with the shingles.

Owens Corning architectural shingles.

Go with the altas shingles I sell their shingles and there is no comparison. Also the customer service for the Atlas warranty dept. is great.

I can add the Garcia guys I had a hard time getting anyone to answer the phone nor to call me back when I had a job. Crossed them off my list.

What about Elk shingles? They have a really good product.

Personally; I like the fabric nail strip on the Owens Corning Shingles. They also have a limited Lifetime Warranty.

DING! I called them four times in the six to eight months after Gustav. They still have not called me back.
