Ruger 10/22

I'm not sure what's more scarce, .22lr ammo or a Ruger 10/22. Spotted this at Wal-Mart in Covington at 9:45 this morning. Not sure of the price or specific model though. First time I've seen one here in almost a year.

And no, they didn't have any. 22lr ammo this morning.

They've had a few of the stainless models at the Walker Walmart. Academy in Hammond has had the blued ones for $199 from time to time along with the Baton Rouge stores.

The Walmart in Raceland and on the East side of Houma always has at least a wood stock one. $199 plain, $219 synthetic, and the stainless one was like $239

Watson Walmart has had them every now and then. No one ever has 22lr.

Make sure you don't get the "Walmart Special" Stainless 10/22. It is just a stainless barrel with a painted receiver. They do have the regular stainless 10/22 but it cost about $30 more than the "Walmart Special". We stay stocked with 10/22's... and well our regulars know about .22lr ammo.

I can't unsee that.

La. Gun and Reloading has a Ruger Takedown. Been there for a few weeks. If my safe wasn't full I'd pick it up.
