We used up all the required instructor course materials that I had during our April courses. The NRA doesn't have what we need for another Basic Pistol Instructor Course available to ship right now. If the materials do not become available soon, we may have to postpone our next course until July or August.

It is a 20 hour workshop which includes the material required to become certified as an NRA Basic Pistol Instructor. We also go over how to develop a course syllabus that meets LSP requirements so that once NRA Instructor credentials have been received they can be registered with LSP. When LSP accepts and processes the NRA credentials and course syllabus, they issue an LSP instructor number and add the instructors name and contact information to the published LSP Concealed Hangun Permit Instructor list. An instructor may begin conducting Concealed Handgun Permit Courses once they have bee issued an LSP Instructor number.

The cost of the workshop is $450.
