I know very little about revolvers and don't own many at all. I guess it is because I was always preferred a semi auto handgun over them.
I have a S&W 19-3 .357 that I am considering getting rid of. Comes as you see it with no box, no paperwork, and a Galco holster.
It is in good shape, only finish blemish is on one small spot on the cylinder. I assume because it was kept in a leather holster.

Do you know for certain the round butt isn’t gunsmith re-work
A round butt conversion will destroy collector value
S&W ran out of pinned M 19 barrels years ago. This will have a big impact for some on who just wants shooter
At this time, shot barrels are in.
Some dislike or like RB, some dislike or like SB

What you can get for the gun is determined by a number factors. Some being
    practical and some being subjective
I'll PM an offer but, to tell the truth, I don't know if it's high or low

I really don't think it is a conversion.

The butt isn't a conversion and pinned barrels went out in 1982 this gun is alot older than that. The 19-3 came out just after S&W stopped producing the diamond grips

A search on GunBroker.com and/or GunAuction.com and/or GunsAmerica.com and/or S&W Forum should give you a good idea of value. Just look at guns with bids or that that have sold recently. Good luck with your sale.

Very nice gun. Serial dates to 1975, right before they stopped doing P/R so definitely a classic. This is a later -3 as the -4 came out in 1977. They stopped the diamond grips in 1968, and the -3 first came out in 67.

If it had the box, paperwork, and original grips I would put it in the $500-550 range. Without all that especially the grips it's probably in the $400 range. Unless you find someone who absolutely has to have it for their collection.
