I went to Wal Mart for my daily disappointment in not finding any ammo, when I saw this little S&W M&P. It looked kinda cool, so I picked it up and brought it home. I'm not big into the 22 rifles but, this thing looked pretty neat. Do any of you guys have one? If so, do you like it/ hate it or have any comments? My 9 year old Grandson will be coming to stay with me for a week. I thought maybe he would get a kick out of it. He's a lefty and I got him a little left 22 handed Savage bolt action. He doesn't know about either rifle so, this oughta be a blast for him.

i have 2 of them and love them. I bought the first one when they first came out so my grandson could have fun with it, then I bought the second one with a threaded barrel so I could put a suppressor on it. Never had any issues in two years with them.

Go and get a slidefire stock, and the trigger slidefire recommends, and the hammer and trigger pin then Bump your S & W M&P -22 (if any ammo comes back)
The slidefire works great with this setup and it is accurate also,It will be the funniest gun you own.You can check out videos on utube of the inventor of slidefire with a M&P-22

Where did you find mags at?

Read 5 or 6 replies above yours.

I have a MP15-22, Colt 6920 and a Sig 716. The gun that gets the most use is the 15-22. One of the benefits is that the indoor pistol range here in town lets me shoot it inside without having to pay extra for the rifle range. I was lucky enough to buy a couple thousand rounds before they were sold out everywhere. You really can't beat the feel of an AR for 3 or 4 cents a bullet. I have over 800 rounds from the Remington tub through it with no failure to fires. If I had to find something to complain about it would be that the trigger is a bit rough but I will be changing it out when I get the slide fire stock. I am really excited about seeing how it performs with it. Also, if you wanted to put a suppressor on it, it is about the only caliber that really is movie quiet. I hope you have as much fun with yours as I have with mine.
