    AR15 Pistols in our match

Sorry,..but since we shoot steel, it would destroy it.....the pistol bay where we shoot is small and off to one side of the public rifle range,....safety is a major concern,...standard pistol catridges are about all we can afford for the time being....Also, because we can only shoot one course at a time,...3 pistol courses and an occasional side event are all that time will allow.
Our matches are what I would describe as, IPSC "lite"....except we don't get into all the equipment rules, however we did adapt their safety rules. We have basic divisions; Hi-Cap (over 10 round capacity), Limited (10 rounds or less), Revolver, and Rimfire.
Courses are designed so that a maximum round count is 20 rounds and no more than 6 rounds per shooting box.
The inspiration for our club came from concealed permit holders wanting to get some practical practice with their handguns.
Most of our members are new to the shooting sports, so we want to make it so that if you have just basic equipment, you can compete.
