scope for my ptr91 with arms mount

so i have a ptr91 and an arms mount. i think when i graduate im going to get myself a scope. what should i get? a decent scope and a 10 round magazine could make my ptr91 a good hunting rifle during nasty weather or when i don't wanna pack my browning blr 30.06. i have a 3x9x40 swift scope i might use for a while, but i'm wondering when yall think.

ps. i've read a cheek peice helps if you have a scope on this rife.

I just have a cheapie BSA 4-16X40 on my CETME. Works fine for me, I don't hunt, but once it's zeroed it'll hit the black from 250-300 yds. +1 on the cheekpeice. I plan on getting a Magpul adjustable stock for mine.

i thought about an adjustable stock

i could find them though. my girlfriends dad has an aimpoint scope i might try to take off his hands, but i think i would rather a variable power scope.

I did think about a nice scope, but couldn't justify a $500+ scope on a rifle that cost me <$300! (Of course CETME's are now $700 and up!) Like I said before, it ain't pretty, but I'm confident it'll put rounds into a man sized target at 100m + and that's fine by me.
