I just purchased my first Scrap Yard knife a Scrapper 5 and I must say it is most impressive. The SR 101 steel is some very tough stuff and holds a nice edge. The Resiprene C handle material has a real nice feel to it. And last but not least the balance of this all around, general purpose knife @ 5.25" of blade is very good. I was wondering how many of you out there have one of these brands and which ones? Also what do you think about the ones you have? Not the safe queens the ones you have put to work.

I stripped the powder coat blade and like it better bare.

Busse family knife groups make the toughest, most indestructible and dependable knives on the planet. Noting else even comes close. I have one of the Scrapper 5's in SR101 as well as INFI. The SR101 is a fantastic steel and takes a superb edge, but it can get cosmetic surface rust pretty easily, especially in a raw ground state. If you aren't going to polish it and plan to use it hard and put it away wet, I would suggest putting a good vinegar patina on it.
