SCW ( Spanish Civil War) 1926 Izhevsk Dragoon

about three weeks ago the boys and I drove over to see my friend Clay and do some shooting. We met Clay at the range and he had a Birthday gift waiting for me. A SCW 1926 Izhevsk Dragoon.
This makes my 2nd Dragoon in my collection.

We had a great day at the range. I ended up spending more time with the boys and didn't do much shooting myself.

Very cool images of a rifle with a long history. If only some of these guns could talk. This one might speak Spanish, Russian, and Ukraine (or whatever language the native Cossacks spoke back then.)

It's actually in pretty darn nice shape considering it's travels. I bet the guy with the E.V. initials spoke spanish though...

Very nice. Rear sight looks Finn to me.

I got a 1928 ex dragoon. Love it!

I'm not an expert but to me it looks like an early Russian rear sight marked in arshinis. My Finn does have the same rear sight. But the arshinis have been crossed out and on the other side meters stamped. Also an extra knotch was cut for 100 meters.
