So, the 9th circuit just refused to restrict carrying in sensitive places in CA. A full hearing is going to happen in April. Many of those sensitive place are the same that are restricted in LA. Bars, churches, hospitals, etc. I haven't heard anything about changes coming for LA. Any thoughts?

The list of sensitive places in the California ban (see the list below) went way further than the list of places listed in Louisiana. I would be surprised if this injunction has much impact on carry restrictions in Louisiana.

All public buildings and permitted public events
All areas under control of an airport authority (public airports)
Public transportation and certain private transportation
    Bars and restaurants
    Daycares and childcare facilities
    Playgrounds and parks
State parks and land under the control of Dept. of Fish and Wildlife
    Gaming establishments
Stadiums, libraries, amusement parks, and museums
    Churches and houses of worship
    Banks and their parking lots
All private commercial property without specific permission of the property owner

I suspect that the restriction on carrying on private property is what did them in as that basically keeps you from going anywhere that you may want/need to carry.

I Sure hope NOTHING there impacts how we do things here. Illinois the same, they just restricted SEMI auto rifles and made you register them .

    made who.... the sheep

comply or don't .... no one makes you
I just watched a YouTube video covering the topic and as of yesterday Sunday 1/7/24 it was estimated that less than 1% have complied so far. That seems awfully low but if true good for the people of Illinois for not complying with tyranny.

There are a lot more similarities than I like... public buildings, hospitals, bars, and churches are a problem. Schools and daycares here are a real issue. If I have to pick up my kid then I have to disarm and leave a weapon in the car.

Those are standard places. I'd bet most states with restrictions have that. It's the last one that is the issue. By default, businesses are a no go. The business has to opt in and put signs up allowing concealed carry for it to be legal in that business.
