    Have you tried a local shoemaker / repair or harness maker (are there any harness makers left in Louisiana?) to make one for you? Just guessing it might not be too expensive for a plain Jane one.

    Is there a tandy leather or equivalent in your area? I had made a few pre-Katrina that turned out OK (lost in the storm...) not to mention a few holsters. They weren't pretty but they worked. Tandy sells scrap leather by the pound and then its just a matter of cutting and sewing with waxed thread. Its not hard.
