Here is a guy shooting 9mm ammo in a 9x18 Makarov.

    The video loads slow.

That's all fine and good, but what's the point. The Makarov is larger in diameter and shorter by 1mm in length obviously. So you have a 9x19 that is pushing the slide slightly out of battery, you can only load one at a time, and the round isn't making positive contact with the rifling of the barrel, which is basically going to destroy accuracy beyond 5 feet.

Not to mention I've never been a fan of firing calibers from guns that weren't intended to chamber them. Makes me nervous. Now obviously .44mag/.44spl and .357/.38 spcl were intended to coexist in the same cylinder.

    What a retard!

Besides the excellent points already made, 9x19 has a standard pressure around 35,000 PSI, compared to about 20,000 PSI for 9x18. In other words, Mr. All-Knowing Video Star is exceeding the designed working pressure of that firearm by 75%. If he continues to do so, he'll someday have a PA-63 blow up in his hand, and/or get sued by promoting this asinine behavior to others.

interesting link, this one caught my eye.

    IN

    223 Remington

    DO NOT USE:

    5.56mm Military

    222 Remington

    30 Carbine

HOLY HELL .30 carbine in a .223!!!!!! I don't want to be anywhere near it, but I'd like to see the carnage that would cause.

I guess the only thing saving this guy is the difference in bullet diameter.

    9x18 .365

    9x19 .356

Firing out of battery still extremely dangerous!:eek3:

He'll remove himself from the gene pool eventually.
