Trying to determine what type of shotgun - they said was a Remington 12 gauge - was used in the Arbery case, where neighborhood men confronted a jogger in Georgia they thought was a burglar. A CNN contributor said, "Well, the shooter had to intentionally pump the gun between shots." I think he is wrong, pretty sure was a semi-auto shotgun. Makes a HUGE difference. Fighting someone over a gun, they are grabbing the barrel and pulling on it, and your finger is in the triggerguard, might well cause a shot to fire, maybe several times. Requires no INTENT to shoot. I highly doubt anyone struggling over a shotgun could manage to work a pump-action during the struggle. I have Googled this but cannot verify action of the gun. Surely their defense lawyers have delved into this subject.

Well, I stand corrected. Just now saw on TV - GBI agent testified that the shotgun was an 870 Remington - a pump shotgun, not a semi-auto. Forget my "accidental" theory.
