    yes, cylinder/open choke, use rifled slugs through a smooth bore but not through a rifled bore...use saboted slugs through rifled barrels.

    The box says what choke to use on some slugs. I will have to look at which it says.

    There are also rifled chokes, but I don't think they do much.

    Improved cyl. with a smoothbore works best for me. Cheap old Remington sluggers did the best. 2 3/4". The box with 1560 fps on it. Not the max dram eq. ones. Reminton 870 with a b-square scope mount. It really shoots well. Good for about 80 yards. Last year I had Tru glo sights on it. (like Turkey sights). Killed one at 60 yards and the slug went right where it was aimed. They do not run!!!!!!!!
