SOLD:
1. Arisaka Type 99 Ser No 85742[/B] – Nagoya Arsenal. All match:
a. Bolt serial (last 3 digits of #)
b. Bayonet Lug (last 3 digits of #)
c. Receiver
Manufacturing # 8623 is present on both receiver and barrel indicates (according to my information) this is a matched type 99 Arisaka. *Mum* is intact, which is correct for collectors. Caliber is 7.7 Jap. Overall condition:
a. Metal – 85% of bluing with some pitting on underside of barrel, but does not show.
b. Rifling – Excellent; no rust, pitting or problems.
c. Stock – 65% - Normal dings and very small chips.
d. Floor Plate and Butt plate rusty.
$500 around New Iberia area.
Caliber is 7.7 Jap. Dust cover is missing. Butt plate is set up for the bayonet flag. Bore is excellent.
A few of the pics are for a carbine which was sold.
