Cpt. Obvious
not so newbie
These were made in Czechoslovakia after WW2 using left over/new parts for export. It's in pretty good shape, not a rust-bucket, some previous pitting at the woodline from sitting in whatever stock it was in. It now resides in a Russian capture stock. Numbers match on receiver, barrel, and bolt. No crest on receiver, but arsenal marked on the side. I'm looking to get $300 obo for it, but would be willing to trade for N or K frame Smiths of the older, finish worn variety (but still functional), preferably in 38/44, 38 spl, or 357 (upon reflection, would also be interested in a sporterized Mauser 98 in 30-06, 8mm Mauser, or 7.62 Nato). I may just be p***ing into the wind, but I aint using the rifle, maybe someone else will. FTF NOLA/Metairie area. Added a couple pics of the rifle, price reduced a bit, too.
