    going to bump this once before the weekend, ordering the parts i need monday so if any of this hasn't sold by then, its not needed to sell after.

    it happened in late november. the car's been undergoing work when i have had the time for it since. once undergoing a final inspection of the entire vehicle, i noticed the two bent links, either from when he pulled me up onto the trailer or from when he cinched the chains and winched them taught for towing. either way, though, it happened 6 months ago. its not worth trying to argue with a towing company (which usually are run by unscrupulous people anyway) over $160 in parts. i've got the cash to cover it, just re-couping some of the cost by selling some un-necessary (at this time) items would be nice.
