If my electricity provider could guarantee me that the electricity that was charging my car was 100% renewable then I could see them saying it is better but until that day happens they need to realize they are just shifting the greenhouse burden from the tailpipe to the electricity plant.

And we all see how reliable electricity is

If I could justify the cost solar panels and some batteries would keep me GTG for power outages for a bit but it is too much right now, cheaper to run and get gas and use a gennie.
