Not surprising. Many local shrimpers (and former local shrimpers) will tell you the imported shrimp are driving prices down and that combined with the risen/rising cost of fuel, many just can't make a decent living shrimping.

I just picked up another 250 rounds of 12 gauge in BB steel, 1550 FPS. And the stock gets heavier.

I think some tariffs on imported shrimp may help local shrimpers. Shrimp is not a necessity. Local shrimp is still far cheaper than almost all options of beef.

He tested 5 out of 12. Why didn’t he test the other 7? They may have said its imported but the article didn’t say why. Or may be they were the Large invasive species, his test would show those as foreign swimps.

Commercial Prawn & Tilapia farms would be good for the people of Louisiana too, but not good for local shrimpers.
