I've got this idea in mind to have a couple Marlin lever guns hard chromed and wondering if any shops in state do this.
Preferably in the Lafayette to Shreveport chunk of the state. I know about Mahovsky's, Cogans, etc, but would rather shop local.

I already have some Boyds pepper laminate furniture on the .30-30, planning on having it threaded before chroming, not sure if I'll have the .45-70 cut to Trapper length yet. Still in the "thinking about it" stage.

To get a good result you would have to completely disassemble before plating then re-assemble afterward. When I was having parts teflon coated I was leaving .002" allowance for the coating. Although this dimension is small, it may not go back together as well as you would like.
