Thinking of our friends on the Eastern Seaboard

Looking at the latest reports on Hurricane Earl. That thing is a monster; a perfect hurricane, if it's possible to think of them that way.

There's more trouble brewing far out there- but Good Lord, I hope this thing somehow swings further out to sea. This storm has the potential to be catastrophic. I pray they heed the warnings and get out of it's way....

damn i am in germany when is this storm supposed to dissipate or hit landfall? im leaving next thursday to come back to the states. i havent watched a lick of news or even been looking at weather or news on the net.
