Will be buying a hush can soon and will be in the market for a threaded 10/22 barrel. I'm looking for suggestions. I've only started to "surf" and someone had already told me to take a look at Green Mountain barrels. My guidelines are absolutely no bull barrels, 16" max length and must be stainless.

    thanks much in advance,

I am not really familiar with 10/22s but can't you get the existing barrel threaded? I have a M&P15-22 that I am taking off the barrel to have it threaded for a can.

try 22barrels.com that is where I am sending mine.

Depending on the year it was made, Ruger used to put an AR thread on the 10/22 threaded barrels. Which is fine if you are installing an AR flash hider or similar muzzle device. the problem is that most 22 suppressors are threaded way shallower. I had to get a spacer to keep my Sparrow from threading to far on my factory 10/22 tactical.

The newer ones feature the correct thread pattern.

Get up with a local gunsmith and check your options. You'd be surprised to find out the cost to thread and there are a bunch of options that you can get them to do that you can't just go buy.
