To all those who have served and who are serving our country, thank you.

I wish to extend special thanks to my best friend, Sgt. Jerusha Jennings of the United States Air Force.

Just part of my proud family heritage. It is an honor for generations of my family, from one side or the other, to serve our country.

When my father died, my foster brother, Eddy (who was up for Admiral when he left the service) and I presented the flag to my Step-Mom on behalf of the Marines for whom my father served in an informal ceremony at his final service. When giving dad's eulogy I, being the lower ranked of us, announced what we were doing and I called Eddy up as the senior officer present to present the flag to mom. It was very moving and fitting for us.

    R.I.P dad...
