I should have posted this early yesterday because it was black/white military comedy day.

I've scanned the next several days and TCM is running old military and war movies between now and the fourth.

I saw one last night that I never had a chance to... "No Time for Sergeants" with Andy Griffith. It was his second movie, and Don Knotts very first.

Knotts was in it. I just pick up the dvd at wally world for 5 bucks a couple of weeks ago. I still haven't watched it.

Edit: I checked their schedule, they have 4 or 5 old Korean War flicks on tonight (6/24)

Thanks for the heads up on TCM. I watch the military channel and history cannels a good bit . Very seldon into the TCM anymore , usually too much love pictures

If I remember right, Knotts plays a Corporal who tests Andy's dexterity at the entry center. Andy winds up breaking the wire puzzles he was supposed to take apart.

Great flick.

TCM is great when you catch certain theme days. Several weeks ago were heaven and hell movies. Devil and Daniel Webster, Heaven Can Wait etc.

Today is a tribute to Korean War Vets. As I watched part of "Men in War", noticed those old M-1's and B.A.R.'s .

I know a few men from The Chosin Few .

This war era is known as the forgotten war .
