Well I won't be purchasing the fights, or buying the video games any longer... hopefully every gun owner does the same I would think atleast 1/3 of the people watching are gun owners probably more.

Personally, I think Fox is deceiving the public in to thinking they are anti BHO and anti liberal. No network gives BHO more air time than does Fox. Their motto, "fair and balanced", says it all. Equal time goes to the groups and individuals who are ruining America.

This article indicates to me they, Fox, are trying to gain favor with the liberal and BHO establishment.

I used to watch the show back when it first started then when the guys started to act like drama queens I stopped. It's disappointing that they are banning the sponsors but that's not what is hurting their pr.

    What's UFC?

I tried to read that blog, but couldn't make any sense of it whatsoever. I don't think I recognized a single proper noun in the entire story.

Be sure to contact UFC and Fox and let them know what you're doing and why.

I was never a big UFC viewer, and never got a PPV, but I can see this being bad. How can you condone a couple guys in an octagon beating the living hell out of each other, but you don't want them to be sponsored by 2A type companies? That just doesn't make sense to me.

I assumed it wouldn't matter if I contacted them and I think I was right here the generic response I got back

    Dear Viewer:

Thanks for taking the time to contact FOX Sports.

Each week we receive hundreds of inquiries from viewers on a variety of topics. Unfortunately, while each is read, due to the high volume were not able to personally respond, and for that we do apologize.

We welcome viewer feedback, and appreciate your point of view. Well pass it along to our senior executives.

    Best regards,

    FOX Sports Viewer Services

Sure didn't keep all the UFC guys from wearing gun swag and being at Shot Show this past week...
Just no Fox coverage, I take it?

The ban is only for televised events. So no more visible patches on fight shirts/shorts/trunks during Zuffa/Fox fights.

Fighters can still endorse these companies outside of events aka going to Shot Show, doing commercials, and /or photo opportunities.

Zuffa/UFC has banned other types of sponsor during events in the past; condom manufactures, porn companies, and gambling websites.

    :)

Interesting and unfortunately true article. I wish it weren't so.

It doesn't matter a whole lot to me as I'm not a UFC watcher anyways. I don't really want my Pro 2A lifestyle to be associated with these people anyways. What does bother me is that firearms are portrayed in such a manner. Spanky's comment was spot on as well.

I was going to shoot a commercial for a local gun store and told asked them if they would like to be a sponsor as well. Their reply is that they couldn't, because Budweiser was already a major sponsor and the gun companies (Glock etc.), forbid them to advertise guns with alcohol. Needless to say, it was a new one for me, but I can see the reasoning.
