Walther G22

I've always been a bullpup fan and this little factory 22lr bullpup looks fun. Not a bad price at under $450. I've heard that they shoot aroung 2" at 100yds with bulk ammo. Has anyone **** one? What was your impression of the rifle?

If it's actually made by Walther, I would get it... but if not, for the price you could buy a 10/22 and just put a bullpup stock for it. Walther makes amazing handguns... but most of their rifles are subbed out to UMAREX. The G22 isn't a "Replica"... so its possible they make it. In which case, it's a bullpup P22 with a stock and long barrel (which is actually what it looks like!!)

I love how you can store two magazines in the stock!

I have one- it's a fun gun to shoot.
It can be switched to make it left-hand compatible (ejects on left side) and has decent controls.
The "iron sights" suck- cheap plastic and far too coarse for anything but plinking.
It really does well with a red dot sight or other optic.
Overall a nifty little gun; short, reliable and fun to shoot.
Worst thing about it is the multitude of tiny parts upon disassembly that are easy to lose. Other than that it's all good.
(Look on the Internet for disassembly instructions and you'll be good.)
