One of my short term grail watches has been a Tudor Black Bay. I love the vintage look of the dial, hands and a 41mm is nearly perfect for my wrist. However, until the day comes that the Mrs. will let me drop 3k on "ANOTHER WATCH" or I am dumb enough to sell a rifle, I have to settle for a homage. This Parnis arrived yesterday and I have to say I'm impressed. Sapphire crystal, decent solid bracelet, Miyota 9015 movement, and 100m WR. I picked up a set of snowflake hands on the Bay for $10 and will swap them out soon. I also have a distressed leather strap coming from Gunnystraps that I believe will really set it off.

That's a good looking watch. I'm gonna check them out.

Not on that one, but I've got the tools to do it. Once I get my Cerakote coating/tools set back up I'll do some more elaborate mods though. Checkout Artifice HoroWorks and you'll see what I plan to do.

    Bruhhhhhhhh...... I need dat

I have enough patience to do mods, but no clue where to get tools.

I'm not a watch guy, but picked this one up on JR's advice years ago. Been through pretty much hell ever since and still ticking. I swap between leather and NATO bands when I get tired of them, that's about the extent of my watch enthusiasm. Zero panache but best ~$60 I ever spent.

That watch has tons of panache. It's oozing moderator juice.

Seiko's movement is solid. Much more accurate than the Rolex movement.
