I actually found that quote credited to about 10 different people.. But I traced it back to who actually really made the quote cause I didnt want to be accused of not doing my research... I even found it credited to George Washington... While that would have sounded cooler in my sig. I would have been ********.. Yup, he moved the flag to the middle of his plane. He now matches McCain's plane. Using that as a base, are they now equal? I mean, since they both have campaign slogans on their tail fin and they have smaller American flags on the fuselage....

Are they now equal ? No , if they were , what would be the point of an election ? All I did was agree that Obama removed the flag from the tail . Hell , it probably wasn't even his idea . Maybe some campaign hack convinced him that it would look good in photo's .

Penguin, I notice in most of the threads posted here you are quick to point out the flaws in people's arguments and the lack of research they may do. And to your credit, you make some good points here or there. However, I can't help but notice that as soon as somebody raises a question about a liberal and/or Obama policy or action, you are quick to assume that we automatically have these opinions because we are mainstream republicans and defend every action of John McCain. I know that for myself (and probably several others on here) that I disagree with many of McCain's stances and with the policies of many republicans. With the exception of exactly which policies they strongly advocate, they both want to bring us more big government and that makes them the same. I just want to ask you to please not assume that just because we criticize Obama and the liberals, that doesn't make us official spokesperson for McCain and the republican party. Since you point out other's argumentative tactics on here, I wanted to point that out about you.

I understand. However, the posters of the anti-obama, anti-ACLU, anti-liberal and republican supporters don't do anything to disuade that opinion. I'm not saying that everyone here is an outspoken supporter of McCain; but if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck... For example, I haven't seen ANY threads created here saying "Man, McCain is totally lost my confidence because...". Yes, I have seen the rare post that people make where say they don't support McCain on a certain topic - but those are very rare. Hence, they support McCain overall and are more than happy to post things about an opponent that they don't like versus things about their candidate that they don't like. I'm not saying that they are (as in some people's word's here) kool-aid drinking followers. I try to not generalize and apoligize if I did.

I am definately not one of the "lesser of two evils" mentality type of guy. I know we're going to be getting the evil of two lessers come this fall. I think what most people realize is that our downward spiral will just happen more rapidly with an Obama presidency.

What frustrates me is that all we ever here or see everywhere and in the mainstream media are stories and criticisms about flag-pin wearing, american flag decals on airplanes, support from Scarlett Johansen, age and race and all kind of time-wasting crap. There are plenty of critical and important issues that people could be discussing instead, like his extreme liberal voting record(which probably says more about the man and what his presidency will be like more than anything else) or the fact that he really is not a true peace candidate, by wanting to send more troops into Afghanistan for _______ reason.

Obama had a pre-existing big patriotic American flag on the tail of his plane and he had it removed to put his dumb symbol. He coulda put his dumb symbol anywhere else.

No it's not enough alone to make one's decision come November, but it's a an interesting tidbit of information nevertheless.
