Greetings,
Up for sale is my Weatherby Vanguard chambered in 30-06. Cash price is $750 preferably in the Lafayette area, but I get around quite a bit on the weekends. Trades will be listed below.
As with most of my firearms, I bought this one from a fellow Bayou Shooter member. I had intentions of stretching this one out for some long range shooting, but never got around to it. If you do your part, it is capable of shooting MOA.
I'm not sure what the finish is on it, but it looks pretty cool. Some of it did wear off from the bolt knob, but it's still a good looking rifle. The trigger is incredibly light and crisp, even better than a Smith and Wesson on single action.
The scope and bipod are included. The scope is a Burris Fullfield II 4.5 to 14. The bipod is a Caldwell. I also have a few boxes of ammo to go along with it.
Trade options +/- cash:
- a good bolt action 308 with a 20" heavy barrel. I'm not fond of the SPS because the action feels rough.
-Mossberg 500/590 with the full length magazine tube. Wooden furniture is a bonus.
-M1 carbine. I want a shooter, not a collector.
-AR15 IN 556/ 223 for 3 gun or a stripped lower receiver.
-Smith and Wesson revolvers:
M19 K-comp
M25 or 625 with a 4" barrel
M327 with a removable rail
M627 V-comp preferably in 38 super
M929 because I like shooting revolvers in matches
