What holster are you using to carry your S&W Shield?

As asked above, what holster are you using to carry your S&W Shield?

Also, IWB or OWB? Anyone using a pocket holster? An ankle holster? How are you carrying your spare magazine?

Just seeing what's out there and who's using what. I snagged a Shield last week and I'm interested to know who is using what and why they're using it.

I have had my Shield .40 for a while and have been trying to decide on a good iwb holster. I wish places around here had a few custom ones just to see if I liked them before ordering one.

I have a Crossbreed Mini-Tuck. Love it so far. It didn't really even need breaking in. Horse btw.

Check the fit of the Shield in your Glock holsters. I carry a Shield in a OWB Armordillo Glock holster and it works fine.
My Glocks are in Safailand ALS or JM Custom Kydex holsters.

Did some experimenting, and the Shield fits OK in my leather OWB holster for my M&P 9c. Also, adjustable mag carriers for a 1911 work fine if loosened up a little. It is a sweet gun to carry. Shoots good as well.

I had a guy named "LaTour Custom Holsters" make me one, exactly to my needs. You can find him online through Google.

He will do whatever you need, I wear mine daily and it looks brand new

This may surprise a few, but I use a simple $15 Blackhawk holster(Size 5). And it fits my Shield perfect and is great for appendix carry. I have crossbreed and G-Code Incog for my Glocks, but that simple little Blackhawk holster carries great. Does not move around on belt, stays close to body and is extremely comfortable.

I carry my shield in a remora holster. I love them. No clips or snaps. They are IWB and can be placed anywhere because they are a compression style holster. Super comfortable and super affordable. With sweat shield I spent $30.00 on it. Here's the website: www.remoraholsterstore.com
