Went to see Buckethead perform in The Caverns in Pelham, Tennessee last month. We rented a cabin about 1.5 hours north, in Baxter, on Center Hill Lake.
We showed up on Tuesday, hiked at least 1 or 2 trails each day, hit the main event Friday evening, took it a little easy Saturday, then drove the Trace all the way back from Nashville on Sunday.
The cabin was well secluded, nearly inaccessible without a truck. No neighbors to hear or see, just chickens in the distance up the hill.
Excellent trip. We took our dog, and you could tell she doesn't get out much. She was barking at almost everyone on the trails, which was a bit embarrassing, but she behaved herself well enough. There was a suspension bridge on one of the trails and she did NOT like that. We coaxed her into it and she made it half way, while we were being as careful as possible not to sway the bridge, then a couple people got on the bridge behind us and that was it. She planted right there and wasn't budging, had to carry her across.
The concert in the cave was pretty awesome. 1st and possibly the only concert I'll experience and I'm happy that it was that one.
