    I have a 642 J Frame, Colt Mustang, and a PPKs.
I do like the Mustang as had it since Colt 1st started making them. Think mine is the second year they made them. I had a guy make up some wood Target Grips and shot 90-grain lead reloads in it that were fun.
Always thought the size diff was funny between these 2
The best of the 3 is the PPKs for carrying Da with more ammo in it

For pocket carry: Sig 365 in pocket holster with 10 round mag
For EDC: Sig 365 in IWB holster with 10 or 12 round mag
For CCW with coat: Sig 365 in OWB holster with 12 round mag
For duty (RSO and firearms instructor): Sig 365 in OWB holster with 15 round mag
All with extra mag, flashlight and Benchmade auto.
    Previously (pre P365) carried a combo of Glock 19/21, Smith 642 and/or Ruger LC9S.

Kahr CM9 polymer and stainless made for southern carry. Love the sights and the trigger as well as the trigger shoe.

saying this, the GX4 is only about 1/3* longer in the slide and 1/4* longer in the grip, you can pocket carry either in a 9mm.

the only other thing I pocket carried was an AMT 380 & a Beretta Jet fire 25acp.

I still prefer to carry my pistol on the waist.

I don't pocket carry, but the smallest 9mm I've had I believe was the karh CM9, it was small, the mags were flimsy, the trigger felt like a DA revolver. and the recoil impulse was snappy.

I think in something that small, I would consider .380 and go LCP max, but pocket carry isn't idea. Kinda hard to draw from the pocket.

My “Pocket 9” for quite a while was a Kahr CM9, I think in an Uncle Mike’s #3.

I prefer even a small pistol on the waist. I feel like anything larger, even the G43 is too large to pocket carry.

You might be surprised how well one of the little 5 shot hammerless or bobbed hammer revolvers will fit in the front pocket. .38 or .357mag.
See Camp .32 or .380 or even the Kahr MK9. The first pistol I bought from Jim’s when he opened his new and unaffordable big store.

This is what and how I mostly carry..... though with a hammer. DeSantis Nemesis and draw technique the hammer doesn't seem to be a problem. Though I understand the limitations.

A Colt Mustang. 6+1 9mm Kurtz. Palm of my hand small? Not really, but easy to carry all day, and shoots like a dream. It's ugly, but accurate.

Cobbled together with parts, as it came to me as a Katrina victim, it sports the slide from a Plus II model, and several springs from a Sig P238.
