Where can I buy coal in New Orleans?

Tried searching online to no avail. Looking to get some so I can start forging metal for knife making.

Ebay has it. There are a few sellers...just put blacksmith coal. I think its mostly available in 25# and 50# bags. With shipping...this seller's 50# runs about 49.00

But Muddy45 has a deal for you at 40.00 for 100lb. You can't beat that IMO.

FWIW...there is a Blacksmith club and they have a website. They meet on the North shore. ( I think ? )

Its a very cool craft / hobby IMO. I've been wanting to join the club...but just don't have the time just yet. Just lots of Blacksmith books for now.

Find the nearest place that sells the big green egg smoker; they carry 40 or 50# bags of lump coal; Academy usually has some too
