I have been shooting a ton of 9mm and have found it for as little as 219.99/1,000 rounds with free shipping.

If you buy bulk ammo online where do you get it from and what kind of prices are you finding?

219.99 sounds like a pretty good deal for plinking ammo. Its Blazer ammo in reloadable brass cases which is nice since I eventually plan to reload 9mm at some point if it proves worth it.

I have found some as cheap as 190.00 per 1,000 rounds but they charge up to 38.00 for shipping which turns out to not be as cheap.

    I wouldn't touch Freedmunitions with a 2,000 ft pole.

There are a bunch of sites.

    bulkammo.com
    luckygunner.com
    ammunitiondepot.com
    ammunitiontogo.com

Cool, you'll be at least 2000 feet behind me while I scarf up some good ammo.
There is another one, I can't think of the name right now, that I got a great deal on. So good in fact that a lot of the bullets allowed me to pull the trigger several times before firing. Some of them only have dented primers after a few trigger pulls. Now that's what I call recycling.

Found it! Homeland Munitions, what a joke.

Buy all the freedom junk you want. Their ammo is garbage.

I prefer 124gr. American Eagle or Lawman which is normally available from SGAMMO at a reasonable price.

You really ought to consider reloading. Obviously you have the brass. Assuming the following components:
    Bullet: Montana Gold 115gr - $365 / 4000 + $18.75 shipping
    Powder: Vihta Vuori N320 - $110 / 4lb
    Primer: Winchester Small Pistol - $140 / 5000

Comes out to just under $140 / 1000 to reload. Vihta Vuori powder and Montana Gold bullets are the high priced spread. Go with say Bayou Bullets 115gr at $253 / 4000 and Winchester Super Field at $72 / 4lb and you're now down to around $106 / 1000. At that rate you pay for a Dillon press in 5000 rounds or less.

There's a couple ways to save on the powder and primer HazMat charge. One is to order from Cabelas or Bass Pro and have it shipped to the store. Another is to pick it up from our friend BeauxDog at Louisiana Gun and Reloading.

Everyone that reloads must get free brass as none ever include brass as one of the costs of reloading.

SGAmmmo, ammotogo, cabela's, targetsports are all good to go.

Bought freedommunitions ammo a while back, total of probably 6k rounds.... Never again, seems like the ammo gets worse and worse each time, and accuracy is horrible. Also the 147gr won't feed in my rifle.

I shoot mostly american eagle and speer lawman. Also federal

Out of curiosity you guys that have all the trouble with FM are the problem rounds reloads or new? I know they claim they are all loaded on the same machines but I have no problems with the New 9mm 124gr bullets.

Why did my reply to this topic get deleted? My comment was that Cabellas is fine but remember that even with free shipping your ammo is 10% taxed where most online purchases aren't.

If mods want to remove I know they will do so but if a board doesn't want replies from their members then the should just post some of their thoughts and we could just read what they think.
