Obama will be the starting point towards socialism. Something that is completely foreign to this country. We are a fundamentally capitalist society, and consequently the greatest country on earth. Obama doesn't like capitalism and frankly would do everything to change it.

Either that or he's so stupid, he just doesn't "get" how capitalism works. Either way, i'm no McCain fan, honestly I wish I didn't have to vote for him. But I think Obama will ruin the country so bad, that the country i'll hand to my grandkids will be a socialist slum.

That's why i'm voting AGAINST Obama. (By voting for McCain.)

I believe in this one statement, " They will do their masters bidding". It does not matter a whole lot which one gets it. The only thing that matters is the speed at which things will go down hill further. If the democrats win, the rate of decline will be much quicker due to the members of congress being the majority. Both candidates are bought and paid for.:squint: You can't have a 3rd party in the mix because the bankers choose the candidates. I am not in favor of either one just like so many others. The sheep for outnumber the sheepdogs in this case. All the rush and hubbub of the metropolitan areas with the soccer moms and the husbands that work all day and come home to enjoy the sports channel do not want to have their lives changed, so they go for the one most likely to leave everything as it is. Ron Paul and those like him look to be the ones that would rock the boat so to speak of their lifestyle. But its this phrase "It's not the vote that counts, it's who counts the votes"! So until something very drastic happens, we are going to be stuck with the same flimflam of the two party system.:wtc: Imo, we need to step back about 100 years and get back to the basics that made this country great, manufacturing and producing in this country, not all the nations outside. No more nafta and gatt. None of this free trade without tarrifs. Our forefathers created the tarrifs for a good reason. We are almost just a nation of consumers, that which is going to crash hard if we don't return production. I know I lost my job back in '97 because of nafta, bitter, yes. I was happy with my job, and in '92 when it was signed into law, I told one of my coworkers, "well there goes our jobs". In '97 when they told us she asked me how I knew. That was simple. It would have been nice if I could have blamed one side or the other for it but it was both sides that wanted it, just like the illegals, they want that too. It drives labor down benefiting big business and creates a new swath of voters. The result is the wealthy get by cheaper and well, goodbye to the middle class.:(:wtc:
