Sad. It really hurt local gun related businesses.
I read that and it said it cost the state a crap ton if taxes. So i guess it will not be back.
I thought i missed it and was waiting.
I guess it was hurry up and wait.
Thanks for the info.
I wonder why they can't just introduce a new bill.
I’m sure they’d like us to think it was an accident...
If it was accidental as they claim, what does that say about how well they’re running the show? And not one person there was able to see that coming? Pretty careless. Pretty sure it wasn’t an accident.
I bet they aren’t that careless with their own money.
They have to pass them to see whats in them....seriously.
Sadly, the Pelosi method is used in more than just passing bills... I literally went through two software implementations in the last 12 months that were essentially "We need to implement this software to see if it works or not!" Here's a hint, it did not work...
Local political subdivisions can still offer the tax holiday.
If I remember correctly, Interstate Guns offered to cover the state tax on purchases that weekend last year.

"Interstate Guns offered to cover".Local sales tax is not state sales tax. Interstate was nice to do that, but they had to pay the state sales tax just the same.
sorry, I wasn’t trying to be a smartass, just trying to differentiate. I’m sure we’d all like to see them bring the state tax holiday back."Interstate Guns offered to cover".
Let me rephrase that.
Interstate Guns paid the state sales tax.
