Take a look at the Sig Pro SP2022. It has the reliability and accuracy of a Sig at a very reasonable price. Mine has never missed a beat and is not particular about ammunition brand. It is the last gun I would ket go.

I would consider other calibers if the price is right.... I would like to keep it between 300 and 450 but willing to go as high as 500 for the right weapon.

Ok, I have a few guns that would fit your bill...

Glock 23, 40cal and midsize but I will let it go for 425.

Browning bdm, nice all steel gun, fullsize and 9mm, asking 350 for it.

Smith and wesson 3953, maybe a bit small for your needs, and it is single stack so only 8rds of 9.

XD 40 two tone, very nice gun, asking 475, but I will go a bit lower for a quick sale.

All are listed here, take a look under my threads section of my profile if you want pics or info.

FYI - Jim's firearms in BR will be having a "Ruger Super Sale" on April 15-17 only, and they will have the Ruger LCP and P95 for $299.99. They will also have the SR9 and SR9Compact for $399.99. The SR9Compact comes with both a 10rd mag and a 17rd extended mag - not a bad deal for a good compact 9mm.

I hope ruger has addressed the sr9 trigger issue. Mine was pretty rough new, then it was recalled and it came back with the worst trigger I have ever felt, imagine a pine cone being pulled out of your bung hole and you are close...
