Selling Gov property that you didn't obtain via a surplus sale is a no-go. To date no SAPI or E-SAPI plates have been sold as surplus. I see your are stationed at Ft Wainwright in Alaska. I am assuming that your unit recently replaced your IBA's with IOTVs and you ended up with a "spare" good on you. Unfortunately this isn't the place to sell it. I would also caution you about selling Body Armor obtained form the DOD. In the very recent past the Army CID, Navy's NCIS and the Air Forces OIS have run stings where in Body Armorer ( a DOD controlled item) was purchased from a seller on the internet and the seller was the arrested and prosecuted.
The Marketplace Forums of bayoushooter are an excellent feature of the board. I would hate to see them sullied by a sale of illegal or illegally obtained items. I'm not a Mod here nor am I an administrator. I certainly don't speak for the staff here nor do I represent the DOD. But I am a fellow user and Soldier and I would hate to see you or the board get hemmed up.
