For Sale - Bushmaster 12" upper with JB Welded 5.5" flash suppressor (all NFA rules apply- would need to be blind pinned for legal rifle use). If you had a pistol lower, could you take off or change the FH and carry it as a pistol? legally?

The law as I know it is "you could take off the flash hider and carry it as a pistol as long as the lower receiver you put it has always been a pistol." (you cannot make a pistol receiver into a rifle, then go back to a pistol)

yes if you have it pinned or "tack-welded" on - as is no.

Ok, just to solve any legal issues, I have removed the 5.5" flash suppressor and it is now a 12" PISTOL upper with an A2 Flash hider on it. Email me for pics. Only for use on pistol designated lowers. All NFA rules apply.
