Like the title says, it serves both purposes. This is the good one with the 3 screws on the bottom of the mount, just to the rear of the bayonet lug. The 3 screws allow you to correctly mount it, and make sure it stays secure. The sling swivel is removable and a rail, etc can be mounted there. Very versitle BUIS! It does have a .14 tenths of an inch mark from putting in the roll pin. I made sure the pics make it very visible, although its not that visible. The bright flash and room lighting are the only thing that makes it stand out as much as it does in the pics.
This retails for $179 and up. I have seen them about $5 to $8 cheaper before but then you have to pay shipping. I will sell this for$140, OK LETS GET THIS THING SOLD, I NEED HAND GUARDS! PRICE DROP $100 PLUS SHIPPING (AND I WONT GO ANY LOWER) plus shipping.
