WTT my bushmaster carbine upper for a 16 FLAT TOP inch upper

i have a 20 " upper. I beleave its a rock river. i want a 16 ". is there a way to take off the handle with out cutting it?

So, are you wanting a 16" or 20"?
I have a dpms 20" heavy stainless target setup I might consider, but would prefer entire rifle trade for a matching rifle since mine is dpms upper and lower. 160 rnds thru it- 100 for break in and 2 mags after I broke it in.
