I know I sound like I am crazy. My ATT iPhone 4S battery went down and I got into the iphone 5 for no money down. My BMW interface will not work since Apple went away from the 30 pin adapter (BMW interface uses 30 pin plug to bottom of phone). Yes I can use the new 8 pin adapter to the old 30 pin, but i loose digital music. It only Comes through the 10 speaker concert system as analog. I have tried everything and the guys on the BMW forum having same problem. Lightening cable took away too much sound quality and communication to car computer. The only way to secure digital music is from earplug not bottom plug and the entire harness is bottom mounted. I will only trade if you have at least a 16 gig phone in good conditon and purchased recently (for good battery life). Mine is a white 16g iphone 5 and is less than 30 days old with wrapped rubber case.
