This is a custom Post 64 Winchester 1894 in .38-55. Has a 26* octagon barrel. Comes with Marble’s tang sight and Lyman 17 Globe front sight. Has crescent buttstock and buttplate and full rifle hand guard.
Barrel only has maybe 10-20 rounds through it. No rust or pitting on the gun but the bluing is *worn* in places.
Have about 1500 in the rifle.
I am looking to possibly trade this rifle for a clone or newer Winchester 1873 in .45 Colt or .357/.38 cowboy action rifle.
May consider Marlin 1894 Cowboy in those calibers or in .45-70.
The .38-55 is an awesome caliber and easy to load for and there are some companies who still make 38-55.
Not interested in selling. Just seeing if there is anyone interested in a trade. Wanting to do cowboy shooting again if I can find the time.
Located on the North Shore.
