Dave Matthews: live at luther college

^^^ Good one. What Tim can do with a guitar is amazing!

that is a good one, I don't like many live albums. The sound is never as good and the crowd is always loud as hell when played at any volume.

My wife and I are big DMB fans, we have seen them 6 times,3 of which Tim was with them. I prefer the live recordings with the entire band, but Live @Luther Collage, Radio City, and Las Vegas are nice to relax to. We have all their studio stuff and just about every live album. I like the older live recordings when Butch Taylor was touring with them. My favorite is the first live album I ever purchased, Live at Folsom Field, Boulder Co.. Before that, I felt like topgunz1 does, I couldn't stand listening to live albums.

I liked the Humble Pie live when Framton was all of about 17 or 18 years old and really hanging it out there,.. having not heard the album in 20 years I remember it having a killer version of gilded splinters and to me, my all time favorite was the Allman Bro live at Fillmore,.. Duane Allman was coming off of about a five month binge of listening to nothing but Miles Davis and John Coltrane and his Improvisational skills were way out there for some one who was only 24 years old.
