Yes. Rarely installed.I didn't know what you were talking about and I looked it up. Is that the key lock behind the magazine? When did that become a thing?
Been available for decades.I didn't know what you were talking about and I looked it up. Is that the key lock behind the magazine? When did that become a thing?
How so? The one on my p30L seems to render it useless if it's locked. That lock is about as useful as the thumb safety on a S&W Shield I used to own.
It was requested by a law enforcement agency if I remember correctlyThat lock is about as useful as the thumb safety on the S&W Shield I used to own. What was Gaston thinking when he said, "Oh I know, let's put a lock with a key on our pistol".
Wouldn't doubt it. NOPD had their Glock 22 come with NY triggers installed. Talk about a mess. Some have enough trouble qualifying as it is, put a 12 pound trigger and see what happens. Supposed to be for safety purposes to prevent negligent discharges. You can't install a device to replace good training discipline like "Don't put your finger on the trigger until ready to fire".It was requested by a law enforcement agency if I remember correctly
If i could find one cheap enough id do thisI'd buy a new grip frame / receiver. I think Brownells had them for $50. Migrate all of the parts except those that offend you. No hole in the backstrap.
